This will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of this magical place and its environmental and social challenges while staying in less touristy neighborhoods.
It’s also a great way to contribute to more responsible tourism, avoiding overcrowding in areas where locals—who often have a lower purchasing power than us—also live.
